I had began shooting the snowy carousel below when this guy came up to tell me they were closed. I asked if I could shoot him and the carnival anyway and he agreed. I remain amazed at the laid-back attitude of the carnies. The Carnival took a financial hit with this weather and it didn't seem to bother them. They rolled with it. My hands were frozen to the camera but they were laughing, throwing snowballs and generally hanging loose while quickly and effectively dismantling the show right under my feet.
