I call these, "Spring in the Upper Midwest":







These shots remind me of the snow/poppy scene in The Wizzard of Oz. I "snapped" myself a bouquet of early bulbs and brought them indoors. After allowing time for them to thaw in pans of tepid water, I arranged them in vases. They were a bit "snow burnt" around the edges but were still lovely.
